Does masturbating reduce the desire to have sex?

A specialist explained that our brain processes masturbation and sexual intercourse differently with another person.

In order to have physical, emotional and mental well-being, it is very important that we have a full and pleasant sexual life.
So to get more satisfaction, people have sex with others in which they include different poses and fantasies, which help them reach orgasm.
In addition to being intimate, people are self-satisfied, a way to know their body and find the points where it allows them to climax.
There are many myths within masturbation. One of them is that if one becomes very self-satisfied, then over time one loses interest in having sex with another person.

However, the sexologist and psychologist at the Clinic Hospital, Viviana Wapñarsky, denied that this is true.
"It is an independent activity, to explore us, and it is not true that the more masturbation, there is less sex. They are two parallel and independent activities and can coexist in both a person who is alone and in a relationship," said the portal specialist Argentine TN.
The sexologist also mentioned that self-satisfaction allows one to know their erogenous areas better.

"It's a gift that we give ourselves because we know each other, that's why it's by no means a consolation prize," he said.
Therefore, the specialist stressed that masturbating will allow women to lead a satisfying sex life.
